– @thisrecording posted a few John Steinbeck letters today. They’re two parts depressing and one part perfect. When he wrote about his work, the man was clear as glass, but in matters of his personal life, he seemed to be about as reliable as pudding. Enjoy these.

I used to ride bicycles. A lot.

I rode a lot of bikes.
Pretty little Italian ones.
Noodley steel ones.
Buttery titanium ones.
