When I was at Crispin, this project died at least 7 times, usually because of budget issues and timing concerns. But 5 days a week, every morning at 9:00, Chris Mele, Ken Slater, Chrissy Wamsher, Jenn Shears, and myself would sit down, and figure out how to keep it moving regardless.
